When registering you will create a profile that will allow you to show some basic information about yourself, along with a photo (if you wish) to other members and you will safely be able to contact other members. Any personal inormation such as address, postcode, phone number etc is not viewable by anyone on the site....not even registered users. It is only viewable by us in our administration section for such things as newsletters by mail etc,  so you are safe to fill this in. Certain forthcoming events are only available to see online to registered users. So please make sure you register.
Please also make sure to check the box to signup to the OEA Newsletter when registering.

 

Some of the new features include a Message Board, Gallery, Events and the ability to pay for your OEA Magazine Online securely and safely using your credit or debit card. You will also be able to book and pay for any trips or days out conveniently Online. (Payment on line for trips will be available soon.)

 

The Message Board and Downloads section requires you to register and log in before you can view and participate in the Online discussions and download previous AGM Minutes and Newsletters.  By registering you will also receive our new email newsletter keeping you up to date with all the latest news and events information.

100th Anniversary

100th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

To mark the laying of the QES Foundation Stone.
­

Thank you to many of you for your suggestions for our special weekend. We have endeavoured to include as many of these as is practically possible. Remember you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time!

Items to include -

• The planting of a tree with a plaque at the old QES site

• Trips to QEC with lunch provided or to  Studley Royal

• Celebration dinner   • OE Service at St Wilfrids Church


The weekend would start on Friday afternoon 22nd October
and end on Sunday afternoon 24th October.

Final details of the weekend will be in the Autumn Newsletter.

The Old Ethelburgian Association


Old Ethelburgian Association

    • The Old Ethelburgian Association is made up of past members of the school, pupils and staff, the badge being the gold eagle.

    • Upholds and provides the bond of fellowship between members at reunions and gatherings countrywide, and through newsletters worldwide.

    • Maintains a fund for charitable and educational purposes, including a bursary for daughters of Old Girls which provides limited financial help towards the payment of fees for girls at school.
